Teeth Clenching/Grinding

Also known as Bruxism or parafunction, teeth clenching and grinding affects around 80-90% of the population over the course of a lifetime and at any given moment around 50% of people are likely to be clenching or grinding.  As the majority of this parafunction occurs at night most people aren’t even aware that they are doing it

SO, why is it a problem?

People who clench or grind their teeth can be affected in many ways and may not realise what the underlying cause is. In fact, many people turn to their GP and undergo medical investigations including CT scans and blood tests in the hope of resolving their symptoms.

Initial Consultation: £80
