This procedure involves very careful and controlled removal of microscopic layers of the outer enamel surface. This can be very effective for superficial discolouration.

This treatment is very effective for less superficial discolouration in the enamel. Liquid resin is placed in chemically opened 'pores' in the tooth surface preventing the progression of dental decay and cosmetically removing white spots.
